Wow! What crazy weather we've been having. My kids missed 3 days of school this week...and it's not even Christmas yet! I hope this doesn't mean it's going to be a terrible winter...weatherwise. It was kindof sad that they missed their class parties...some classroom mom somewhere is wondering what she's going to do with the 20+ goody bags and iced cupcakes she has sitting in her dining room. Uggh!

'Tis the season...to post some of the new Christmas card designs for this year. I always try to wait until they've been mailed so as not to spoil the surprise. Check out the newest samples below.

Wow...it's been a long time!

Long time...no blog! What a crazy summer, fall, and early winter I've had. I recently went back to work teaching full time, and I just haven't found the time to update my blog. I have, however, still been doing photography and designing Christmas cards. Check out the images below to see just what I've been up to these past few months.

What a hot, but beautiful month it has been! After finally completing my grad class, I am finally able to hang out with my kids at the pool a bit and stay up late watching movies. Unfortunately, I have also become friends with a woman who thinks that a 6am spin class is normal! What!!?? So...I will quickly be updating the blog tonight and then heading off to dreamland. What a crazy summer it has been so far! I recently went back to graduate school and took a full-time job! Wow! Because of this there will be a few changes to my photography schedule and pricing. Appointments will be extrememly limited in the fall so, if you are ready to have your senior pictures taken, call soon. Summer appointments are booking up. Call for new prices...new prices include a cd that you can take anywhere for printing. This is a great deal for you and will cut down on a lot of time and stress for me. Win, win!

Omigoodness! It's been a long time since I posted. So much going on these days...Gracie is still busy with tennis, Annie opened her play yesterday, Who Pushed Humpty, and Audrey is finishing kindergarten and trying out tennis too.

I am gearing up for the upcoming Spring and Summer Portrait Season...appointments are currently filling for senior portrait sessions. Need a new family portrait? Call soon and we can get you on the calendar.

Am I the only one who is tired of snow and ice? I didn't think so. Even my kids were begging to go back to school earlier this week. They did, however, have fun building a snowman...our first of the season. I hope each of you is having a wonderful winter, but it's not too early to start thinking about Spring pictures. Many of you have been asking about this year's Christmas card designs. Well, I usually wait until after Christmas to publish any of them, but this year, as cards start being mailed, I will start posting the new designs. This first one is my friend, Buffie's, card. She found some great paper that she liked and we came up with some fun designs. Check below for the finished product.

No two cards will ever be just alike. Have an idea for a card? Let me know, and I will try to make that vision a reality. Check back often for more designs. You can also go to December 2008 in the Archives of this blog to see samples from last year.

Wow! Summer is just about over and school has started. My kids have kept me oh, so busy! My youngest started kindergarten this year which left me feeling lonely and close to tears so what did I do about it? Get a new puppy! Brilliant idea! My baby graduated from preschool yesterday, and my oldest went on her first (of many) 5th grade field trips today. Summer is definately right around the corner. I hope you all take time out this summer to just enjoy the little things...chasing lightning bugs, getting ice cream from the ice cream truck that will be sing-songing through your neighborhood any day now, staying out until dark (which ends up being later and later as the weeks go by). These are the things I will savor this summer.

My little drama queen! Just wanted to post some pics from a play my daughter, Annie, was in recently. She played the troll in The 3 Billy Goats Gruff and Stone Soup: A Rock Opera. I am also posting a recent baby announcement and a sweet pic of my littlest redhead, Audrey, and her daddy just before going to Dinner with Dad at her school.

Wow! What an amazing holiday season! However, the business of Oct., Nov., and Dec. left me completely exhausted. January became an unofficial vacation for me. Much needed! For those of you who have checked my blog lately and haven't seen an update, I apologize.
